We understand that Irish businesses need more than a collection service. They need a partner who takes ownership of the full lifecycle, right from pickup scheduling to environmental reporting.
Our team responds at the earliest to every enquiry, our logistics network covers both urban and regional Ireland, and our reporting is built to satisfy internal audit teams as well as external regulators. We take pride in offering a genuinely one-stop solution for bulk electronics recycling, corporate e-waste disposal and IT asset recovery, all under one roof.
Ireland generated over 15.7 million tonnes of waste in a single recent year, and electronic waste remains one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the country. Despite this, only 43.6% of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) was collected in Ireland against an EU target of 65%, according to EPA figures.
This gap represents both an environmental concern and a compliance risk for Irish businesses. Every unit of unmanaged corporate e-waste is a missed opportunity to recover valuable raw materials and a potential exposure point for data breaches and regulatory penalties.
SND Recycler was established precisely to close this gap for corporate and institutional clients, offering reliable bulk e-waste collection in Ireland without downtime or compliance headaches.

Murphy

As a school, we don't generate huge volumes of e-waste, but SND Recycler still gave us the same level of service as a large corporate client. Prompt response, no hidden charges, and proper WEEE documentation handed over.
Kelly

We decommissioned an entire server room and were worried about downtime and logistics. The SND Recycler team coordinated the pickup around our schedule and handled everything without disrupting our operations.

A simple, trackable workflow from collection to processing, built for compliance and operational ease.
1. Pick a bulk e-waste collection time as discussed with the client.
2. Our team collects and transports everything safe and sound.
3. Devices are sorted and storage units go through secure data removal.
4. Materials are processed to recover metals, plastic, and glass.
5. Businesses receive detailed reports for compliance.

1. What is bulk e-waste recycling and who is it meant for?
Bulk e-waste recycling refers to the collection and processing of large
volumes of electronic waste generated by businesses, institutions or
data centres, rather than individual household items. It is meant for
organisations disposing of laptops, desktops, servers, networking
equipment and other IT assets in quantity, and requires structured
logistics, documentation and compliance handling that household
recycling does not.
2. Is e-waste recycling free for businesses in Ireland?
Household WEEE collection is free of cost under the producer compliance
scheme. However, bulk corporate e-waste recycling typically involves a
service fee, since it includes logistics, secure data destruction,
certification and compliance reporting. Kindly get in touch with our
team for a quote based on your volume and requirements.
3. How is data destroyed during the recycling process?
Data-bearing devices such as hard drives, SSDs and mobile equipment
are processed using NIST-aligned digital wiping, degaussing or physical
shredding, depending on the device type and your organisation's
requirements. A Certificate of Data Destruction is issued for every
batch, confirming the method used along with serial numbers and
timestamps.
4. Do we get proof of compliance after pickup?
Yes. Every consignment is backed by full documentation, including a
Certificate of Recycling, WEEE compliance paperwork and a chain of
custody report tracking the assets from pickup to final processing.
This is provided as standard, not as an add-on.
5. What happens if we do not dispose of e-waste properly?
Improper disposal of corporate IT assets carries both environmental and
legal risks. Under GDPR, a data breach resulting from improperly
destroyed devices can attract fines of up to €20 million or 4% of
global annual turnover, whichever is higher. WEEE regulations also place
a legal responsibility on businesses to ensure electronic waste is
collected and processed correctly.
6. Which types of e-waste do you collect in bulk?
We collect laptops, desktops, monitors, servers, networking hardware,
printers, mobile devices, batteries and general office electronics.
For data centre decommissioning, we also handle racks, storage arrays
and associated infrastructure.
